Effective from 1 October 2026.
On this page I explain what data the website yoga-vs-qigong.com collects, why it is needed, who receives it and how long it is kept. I try to collect only what I need to sell and deliver the book to you or to answer your message.
1. Who is responsible for your data
The website is run by Anatoly Yasinsky (Anatolii Iasinskii in official documents), a self-employed individual (freelance profession) based in Burgas, Bulgaria. For any question about your data, write to info@yoga-vs-qigong.com.
2. What data is collected and why
Buying the e-book or audiobook. When you place an order, you enter your name, email address and country. This is needed to process the order, send you the download links and keep sales records as required by Bulgarian law. Legal basis: performance of a contract and compliance with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(c) GDPR).
Payment. Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details are entered in the Stripe form and never reach my website; I do not see or store them. Stripe only sends me the payment confirmation and the country of the card.
Customer account. If you create an account, it stores your email address, your password in encrypted form and your order history with download links.
Messages. When you email me or use a form on the website, I receive your name, address and message and use them only to reply.
Visit statistics. If you click “Accept” in the cookie window, Google Analytics 4 is enabled. It shows which pages are viewed, on which devices, from which countries and where visitors came from, and it records purchases. I see this data only in aggregated form and use it to improve the website. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). If you click “Decline”, Google Analytics is not loaded.
Videos. The video lessons are embedded from YouTube. When you open a page with a video, YouTube (Google) receives your IP address and may set its own cookies. This is necessary for the video to be displayed. More details in the Google Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
Technical logs. Like any server, the hosting server records the IP address, time and address of each request. These logs are needed for website security and are kept for a limited time. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
I do not sell data or pass it on for advertising. The website makes no automated decisions about people and builds no profiles.
3. Who receives the data
- Hostinger: website and email hosting, servers in the European Union.
- Stripe: payment processing.
- Google: Google Analytics (only with your consent), YouTube for videos, Gmail, where messages from the website are forwarded.
Some of these companies may process data in the USA. Such transfers are permitted under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
4. How long the data is kept
- Orders and accounting records: as long as required by Bulgarian accounting and tax law (up to 10 years).
- Customer account: as long as you use it or until you ask me to delete it.
- Correspondence: as long as needed to reply, then deleted.
- Google Analytics data: 14 months.
- Your choice in the cookie window: 1 year, after which the website asks again.
5. Cookies on this website
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. Necessary cookies are always active: without them the cart, payment and language choice would not work. Statistics cookies are set only after you consent.

YouTube videos. When you watch a video, YouTube may set its own cookies (for example YSC, VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE). They are managed by Google.
Your cookie settings
Here you can switch statistics on or off at any time. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings; the website will then ask again on your next visit.
6. Your rights
At any time you can:
- find out what data I hold about you and get a copy;
- correct inaccurate data;
- ask for your data to be deleted unless the law requires me to keep it;
- restrict or object to the processing;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent to statistics; this does not affect processing before the withdrawal.
To do so, write to info@yoga-vs-qigong.com and I will reply within one month. If you believe your rights have been violated, you can file a complaint with the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (CPDP, cpdp.bg) or with the supervisory authority in your country.
7. Changes
If I change the way data is handled, I will update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be shown here in advance.
